About the webinar series two
Teacher Takeaway webinar series two brings informative, practical teaching ideas and resources from local educators to you and your classroom. With four new webinars presenting crucial topics to enhance English language teaching and other educational contexts.These next four webinars promote experienced, motivated educators who will share effective teaching tools from various sources, including the British Council’s TeachingEnglish website, with up-to-date research on important topics for formal and informal educational settings. The four webinars will explore autonomous learning strategies, adapting activities for different levels, addressing tools for hidden disabilities and social-emotional learning and how to incorporate these into your lessons. These topics will be defined, analysed and framed in a Myanmar specific context through an interactive presentation and Q&A.

Chairperson for the webinar series
Amie Dodd is a teacher trainer with 17 years’ experience in ELT. As well as being a master trainer for Ministry of Education projects in Myanmar and Bangladesh, she has experience in primary and secondary education, with refugee and displaced persons and on creative media projects for TV and online. She has presented several talks and webinars promoting teacher development across Asia.
