ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

The Human Resources team forms part of the business support services, handling a wide variety of local procedures as well as implementing regional and global policies. The payroll specialist delivers all aspects of payroll implementation for the country which includes branches and subsidiaries in Myanmar. The post-holder will report to the HR Services Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

The role supports the country Human Resources and management team in payroll, labour insurance, health insurance, salary tax, and pension related functions and business matters. The role ensures that the payroll, local tax return and pension process in line with accounting and HR practices, National labour insurance and health insurance, corporate policies, and local statutory, employment and tax compliance regulations.

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT

Supporting in payroll operation, you will be the first point of contact for all payroll matter and taking ownership to ensure timely and accurate full processing of payroll for staff in Myanmar office in adherence to the Employment Act.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You should have excellent spoken and written English with at least three to four years of payroll and HR experience. University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline would be advantageous.
