Role overview

British Council in Myanmar is recruiting a local team of office staff, based in Yangon, to support the work of the English for Education College Trainers project (EfECT).

This ground-breaking project will work with teacher trainers in 22 colleges across Myanmar and follows an unprecedented approach by the President of Myanmar to the UK Prime Minister. The two-year project is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the British Council itself and will work in partnership with the UK Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO); Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO).

  3. Project Manager – Logistics – Grade G
  4. Project Admin Officer - Grade H
  5. Project Finance Officer – Grade H
  6. Project Admin Assistant – Grade J

The contract

The contracts will be fixed term contracts (contract end August 2016) after a successful three months probation period.
