What is IELTS Trial Test?
IELTS Trial Tests are organised in partnership with Cambridge Assessment English. Trial Test allows candidates to answer sample questions under exam conditions and receive raw scores from IELTS markers. Through the raw scores, test takers can have an idea about the test sections they need to work on more, to increase their confidence in taking the actual test. Please note that trial test questions are not the same as the actual questions in the IELTS tests.
There are only limited slots available per trial test date for both Yangon and Mandalay.
Registrations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Confirmation email will release to registered email individually once it is confirmed by the phone call from customer service team.

Requirement
On the day of your trial test, please bring any of the following IDs:
- NRC (or) Passport (Original)
Stationery required for the test will provided by the British Council, so there is no need to bring any items into the trial test room.
IDs not allowed
- Driver’s License
- Temporary National ID
- Copies of National ID (or) Passport
- Punched/expired Passport.
- Certificates of any kind
Release of Results
- Results will available at least four (4) weeks after the IELTS Trial Test.
- Result will be sent to the registered email address of confirmed trial test takers
- The scores you will receive from this exercise does not, in any way, guarantee the same result in the actual test.
- The scores received are for preliminary assessment purposes only and are not eligible for use in any official applications.
For candidates under the age of 18, please assist us by completing the parental consent form and submitting it to us before your trial test date.
British Council will initiate three contact attempts via the phone number provided in the registration forms, and if there is no response, the registrations will be automatically cancelled.
Trial Test Confirmation Email will be received by individual test takers who have been confirmed to participate in the test.
