To equip the students with entrepreneurship attitudes, skills and business knowledge, the ‘Developing Entrepreneurship in the Curriculum’ workshop was organised in November 2018 with teachers from weaving schools. It was designed for teachers to practically develop lesson plans on entrepreneurship modules by themselves through group work and discussions. External relevant speakers on digital marketing, textile sector overview and microfinance were invited to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and information of the private sector. The teacher’s manual for “Entrepreneurship Skills” will be published for teachers to assist students in developing attitudes of entrepreneurship as well as practical research skills commonly used in the design and employment environment.
