Strategies for Learning – Use the “P7” Approach!

  1. PLAN: For long pieces, plan your writing before you begin
  2. PARAGRAPHS: Understand how to use paragraphs in English
  3. PURPOSE: Be clear on the purpose for writing
  4. PEOPLE: Remember who will read your piece
  5. POLITENESS: Use the appropriate style and tone
  6. PHRASES: Keep a record of useful expressions and phrases and use them
  7. PARAPHRASE: Practise and learn how to write an idea in different ways

Notice – Look, Listen, Analyse
