What is Primary Plus?

Primary Plus is an enjoyable and effective English course. Its wholistic approach will help your child develop the skills they need in today’s world. Your child’s confidence and English ability will develop through skills-based tasks based on real-world topics, stories, songs, rhymes, games, craft and drama matched to their age. Research shows that this is the best way for children to learn English – it helps them remember new language and master good pronunciation.

Reading for Life

Reading is widely recognized as an important tool for learning vocabulary and grammar, as well as gaining knowledge of the world. Our course makes sure your child will have regular visits to the library as well as teacher-guided reading time to help understand the value of their independent reading and learning.

Blended Learning with Primary Plus

Our Primary Plus is a blended course. It integrates face-to-face or virtual classes with an online Learning  Hub. This means our delivery is more flexible and offers consistent quality learning for different contexts.  Our teachers set children reading, listening and vocabulary activities to do online to prepare for class. This builds good habits for life such as taking ownership, encouraging reflection and staying motivated. More class time with the teacher time is focused on learners developing confidence using English well as improving their fluency and accuracy with more personalised feedback.

Learners in Primary Plus 1 and 2 will do consolidation online learning with interactive games and quizzes to practise vocabulary and increase confidence. Our Learning Hub will also offer parents an opportunity to see and track their child’s learning.
