You can take an IELTS test on paper or on a computer at one of our official test centres in Myanmar.
Either way, you will be taking exactly the same IELTS test, with the same test content and structure. The only difference is that you can choose to type your answers or write them on paper – whichever suits you best.
IELTS on computer
You will answer the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on a computer at one of our official test centres. The Speaking test will still be face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner, as this is the most effective way to assess your speaking skills.
With computer-delivered IELTS, you will now have more test dates to choose from - and your results will be available in 3-5 days.
Results for Computer-delivered IELTS are usually available in 3 to 5 days after you finish all components of your test. Please note that if the result release day falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, the test report form (TRF) will be distributed on the next working day.
Computer-delivered IELTS tests are available in Yangon at one of our official test centres.

IELTS on paper
If you choose this option, you will write the answers to the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on paper. The Speaking test will be conducted face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner.
Your results will be available after 13 calendar days from the test date.
If you have any special requirements, you should take the paper-based test.
